Transect brings together photographs made from commercial flights across the Iberian Peninsula and southern France. The images form an ongoing archive of aerial observations.

Seen from above, familiar territories become difficult to identify. Agricultural fields resemble biological structures; infrastructures appear as organs; reservoirs, solar fields and geological formations merge into unfamiliar surfaces. At times, the landscape seems less terrestrial than planetary.

Observed through the fixed frame of the aircraft window, Transect records these transformations as samples of a territory where the natural and the constructed become increasingly difficult to separate.
